I will account for the time I spend and clarify the costs during a first consultation meeting, which I offer to you without charge. My fee is based on the scope of the conflict, the number of persons that participate and whether the meetings will take place in my office or at another location. All details will be discussed with you in advance and will be documented in a written agreement.

If you want to share the costs, then you must negotiate this between with one another in advance of actual mediation. Many partners in conflict decide to share these costs equally. Insurers offering legal assistance insurance policies increasingly recognise the advantages of mediation and participate in such costs.
